Covid-19: Bauchi gov sets to come to aid of Bauchi citizens

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has assured the citizens of the state that his administration will provide them with relief materials to cushion the difficulties they may face at this critical period of Coronavirus Pandemic.

The governor who is currently on isolation gave the assurance in a short video message sent to the good people of the Bauchi state and Nigerians in general.

He disclosed that this will go a long way towards alleviating the suffering of the citizens.

The governor also applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the measures taken to address the current situation confronting the nation.

According to the governor, "My dear people of Bauchi state and all Nigerians, I want to thank you and most importantly to thank Allah and our leaders especially Ulamas, our supporters and Nigerians who have shown sympathy to me.

 " By nature of this isolation which I tested positive to coronovirus, by the grace of Allah, up till this moment, I have no any symptom or suffering  from the virus. I am stable at the moment. I think I am much better now, but I will continue to be in isolation so as to abide to the regulations of the physicians", the governor said.

The governor who is satisfied with performance of the State Task Force Committee on COVID-19 headed by the State Deputy Governor, Senator Baba Tela, said already governors in the country have agreed to support citizens at this period of need.

Governor Mohammed assured the good people of Bauchi state that when discharged from isolation, he will reflect and come up with solutions to overcome the challenges facing the people of the state.
